The St. Louis County Judicial Administration Information Technology Department is a stable, progressive workforce of 12 that supports the work of the St. Louis County Courts. The Audio-Visual Technician position will be one of 5 team members reporting to the IT Supervisor. Work is reviewed for efficient system performance and for quality and timeliness of results obtained.
The successful candidate will have a working knowledge of audio and visual equipment, general operating principles and capabilities of computer hardware and software, good interpersonal and customer service skills, and knowledge of troubleshooting and diagnosing technical issues on the phone as well as onsite.
Salary: $28.07 - $43.06 ($58,385 -$89,564)
This position is eligible for the 10% addition to pay effective January 12, 2020.

Essential Job Functions:
General Duties: An employee in this position is primarily responsible for the installation, testing, repair, maintenance and troubleshooting of the Court’s audio and visual equipment and supporting infrastructure.
Essential Job Functions:
Graduation from an accredited college or technical school with an Associate's degree in Computer Science or Information Technology is preferred. Audio/Visual certification is desirable. Computer information technology systems experience may be substituted for educational requirements; or any equivalent combination of training and experience.

Screening will be performed by a reputable clinical laboratory. The cost of screening will be bourne by the County.
