The Audio Visual Specialist is responsible for installing, configuring, operating, disassembling, and troubleshooting audio visual equipment.
Performs production editing, routine maintenance, and inventory tracking.
Coordinates with clients on placement, integration, and ensures functionality of projectors, lighting, microphones, sound mixing, recording, and video-conferencing equipment for live events and meetings.
Responds to and resolves routine questions and technical issues.
Works under moderate supervision.
Has attained full proficiency in a specific area of discipline.
Continuously learns new equipment/technologies as needed.
Proficient mechanically with audio visual and telephone equipment.
Ability to work flexible hours.
Participates in on-call as required.
Performs basic repairs, monitors equipment and inventory as needed.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Education and Experience
High School or equivalent GED. Associate's degree preferred.
A minimum of 3 years experience required or demonstrated equivalent skill level.
Experience in healthcare or related technology field working with audio visual.
Must have mechanical aptitude for electronic and/or visual equipment.
