Audio Visual Technician II: IT Technology

• The Audio Visual Specialist is responsible for installing, configuring, operating, disassembling, and troubleshooting audio visual equipment.
• Performs production editing, routine maintenance, and inventory tracking.
• Coordinates with clients on placement, integration, and ensures functionality of projectors, lighting, microphones, sound mixing, recording, and video-conferencing equipment for live events and meetings.
• Responds to and resolves routine questions and technical issues.
• Works under moderate supervision.
• Has attained full proficiency in a specific area of discipline.
• Continuously learns new equipment/technologies as needed.
• Proficient mechanically with audio visual and telephone equipment.
• Ability to work flexible hours.
• Participates in on-call as required.
• Performs basic repairs, monitors equipment and inventory as needed.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Education and Experience

• High School or equivalent GED. Associate's degree preferred.
• A minimum of 3 years experience required or demonstrated equivalent skill level.
• Experience in healthcare or related technology field working with audio visual.
• Must have mechanical aptitude for electronic and/or visual equipment.
