ASRC Federal Data Network Technologies has a great opportunity for an A/V Technician (Junior) to join our team in Rockville, MD where we support the NIH (National Institutes of Health). This role is to facilitate conference room meeting support and hybrid meeting support on-site at the NCI Rockville and Bethesda locations in Montgomery County, MD. The responsibilities include performing on-site maintenance activities for NCI Conference space, working with NCI client to understand their meeting needs, participating and facilitating testing/dry runs of meetings, and supporting NCI meeting needs.
Requirements:
High School Diploma/GED with 2+ years of technical support experience in audio/visual technologies.
Experience supporting telephony, video, network and/or other collaboration devices
Experience using ticketing system (prefer ServiceNow) is a plus
Experience providing customer service and end user support
Strong proven record learning new technologies and support
Strong written and oral communications required
Ability to work core hours Monday-Friday between 7AM to 6 PM
Ability to work on-site daily at various sites in Montgomery County, MD
Permanent Residency or US Citizenship required for the government background investigation
Responsibilities:
Provide audio/visual meeting support for federal customer
Daily conference room checks: verify all equipment is online, functioning and charged
Daily meeting support: hands on technical support resource for customers for all conference room meeting needs
Video & Audio Support using NCI Equipment
Support the WebEx / MS Teams VTC Platforms
Room computer and Laptop connectivity
Supports customer during meetings; support includes video teleconferencing, video display of laptops and/or room computer presentations, WebEx setup, etc.
Logs all transactions with customers in ServiceNow
