The Solutions Engineer AV will be assisting Dealers, Consultants, Enterprise Partners, and Crestron Sales Teams with the development of comprehensive technical offerings of custom proposals, competitive-analyses, submittals, drawings, and catalogs that will assist in conveying the value-proposition and differentiation of a Crestron solutions within the Commercial & Residential markets.
Responsibilities:
Answer AV presales calls for system design from dealers and Crestron sales teams.
Create AV system design quotes that are medium to large (projects).
Assist in the preparation of consultant specified bids and submittals.
Actively assist customer design request cases via Salesforce from Tech Support.
Create system drawings for Medium to Large projects.
Conduct new product research & compared to competitor products on the market.
Support the Enterprise Sales Team with the development of formal written proposal packages for hardware, software & services

Requirements:
Bachelor's of Engineering preferred
3-5 years of related experience is required
CTS Cert preferred
Experience in AutoCAD, Visio, Excel/Word, etc. to develop documentation and project submittals
Experience in Audiovisual Equipment, Videoconferencing Endpoints, Network Equipment, Network Services, Hardware, Software, and Managed Services offering
Must have industry experience with Audio Video & Network distribution systems.
Customer facing serves as an escalation point of Sales Support.
Interpersonal/written/verbal communications skills, with the ability to learn new technologies.
Works under minimal supervision with wide latitude for independent judgment.
Assists less experienced peers.
Knowledge and proficiency with Streaming AV solutions design. Creates hand drawings of AV systems.
