The Audio & Visual Technology Technician 3 sets up, manages and maintains the technical equipment associated with live events and businesses. The Audio & Visual Technology Technician 3 performs advanced administrative/operational/customer support duties that require independent initiative and judgment.
The Audio and Visual Technology Technician 3 is responsible for filming, editing, and producing a variety of video content, including b-roll footage, leader interviews, and event coverage. This role participates in AV technology operations, collaborates with team members, interfaces professionally with senior leaders, and contributes to town hall style productions, including technical direction using switching software. Expertise in DMX lighting, interview lighting, and Adobe Suite editing is preferred.

Key Responsibilities:
- Capture high-quality video footage for internal and external communications, including b-roll, interviews, and live events.
- Participate in the planning and execution of town hall productions, serving as technical director and operating switching software as needed.
- Set up, operate, and maintain camera, audio, lighting, and AV equipment, with an emphasis on DMX and interview lighting best practices.
- Experience programming and operating ETC lighting consoles is a plus, along with any DMX certifications.
- Collaborate with AV team members to ensure seamless event execution and content production.
- Interface with top company leaders and stakeholders, demonstrating professionalism and effective communication.
- Edit video content using the full Adobe Suite, employing current techniques and staying informed on industry best practices.
- Maintain and organize production assets, project files, and equipment inventory.
- Foster a positive, solutions-oriented team environment and demonstrate a strong work ethic and attitude.
- Stay current with emerging AV technologies, software updates, and production trends.
Required Qualifications
- 1 - 3 years of videography experience
- Must be passionate about contributing to an organization focused on continuously improving consumer experiences
- Demonstrated experience filming interviews, b-roll, and live events.
- Proficiency with professional cameras, audio equipment, DMX lighting, and interview lighting setups.
- Experience as technical director for live productions using switching software (e.g., vMix, OBS, Kairos Creator or similar).
- Skills in video editing with the Adobe Suite (Premiere Pro, After Effects, Audition, etc.)
- Strong interpersonal and teamwork skills; proven ability to interface with senior leadership.
- Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving abilities.
- Positive attitude, adaptability, and commitment to continuous learning.
Preferred Qualification
- Associate or bachelor’s degree in film, communications, or related field or equivalent experience.
Additional Information
15-20% Travel will be required for this role.

The compensation range below reflects a good faith estimate of starting base pay for full time (40 hours per week) employment at the time of posting.
