Responsibilities:
We are seeking an entry-level acoustics engineer who will work as part of our dynamic team, contributing to a variety of projects under the guidance of senior acoustics consultants. Responsibilities and opportunities include:

  • Performing acoustical analyses and field testing, such as sound transmission loss, reverberation time, and environmental noise.
  • Conducting research and generating documentation in support of design projects, including detailed drawings and/or calculations.
  • Developing and applying acoustical modeling.
  • Coordinating with other design team members concerning acoustical design details.
  • Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to develop technical solutions.
  • Gaining exposure to project work in diverse built environments, including education, sports venues, performing arts venues, entertainment venues, government, mixed-use/residential, and corporate markets.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Acoustics, Audio Engineering, or a related field (recent graduates encouraged to apply).
  • Genuine passion for the AEC industry and a drive to learn and contribute to meaningful projects.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively in a team environment.
  • Proficiency in relevant software tools, such as CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit), audio simulation software, or acoustic modeling software, is advantageous.
  • Adaptability to changing priorities and tasks, with a readiness to perform duties onsite or at project locations as needed.
  • Previous internship or co-op experience in the AEC industry is advantageous, though not required.
