Job Overview
We are seeking Senior AV Technician with a solid foundation in residential AV installations and a hunger to grow into advanced programming and leadership responsibilities. The ideal candidate can independently manage pre-wires, trim-out phases, and rack builds, and is eager to expand programming knowledge. You will work directly in luxury home environments, where professionalism and a polished presence are essential.
Key Responsibilities
● Independently execute structured wiring, pre-wires, trim, and rack builds
● Read and follow detailed project plans and schematics
● Support and/or lead small teams on-site depending on experience level
● Learn and begin programming platforms such as Crestron, Lutron, and Basalt
● Collaborate with project managers and team leads to ensure project success
● Represent the company with professionalism in high-end residential settings
● Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues as needed
Qualifications
● 2–5 years of experience in residential AV or home automation integration
● Proven ability to work independently on tasks like pre-wires and rack building
● Experience with systems like Control4, Savant, or similar is welcomed
● Willingness and aptitude to learn programming and control systems
● Strong communication skills and client-ready presentation
● Reliable, punctual, and self-motivated
● Clean driving record and ability to pass background check
Preferred Qualifications
● Prior exposure to Crestron, Lutron, or Basalt programming
● Previous leadership experience or mentoring of junior techs
● Certifications in AV or home automation platforms
