Join Eve Air Mobility – Help to develop the future of urban air mobility

Have you ever wanted to be part of something innovative? To work with a team that is challenging the status quo and shaping the future of urban air mobility? This is your chance to make your mark and be part of an exciting journey toward the future of transportation.

At Eve Air Mobility, we are reinventing urban air mobility in a safe and sustainable way. As a global company, we collaborate across countries and cultures to create a legacy of innovative mobility solutions for everyone. Our team is made up of highly qualified professionals from aviation and other fields, passionate about pushing boundaries, growing together, and making a real impact.

We seek a professional to act on Noise and Vibration area, focus on eVTOL aircraft external noise. The role focuses on developing and applying noise prediction methods and measuring process, integrating low-noise solutions into eVTOL aircraft, ensuring compliance with noise regulations.

Responsibilities and assignments

  • Develop and use various noise prediction methods (analytical, semi-empirical, computational) to estimate eVTOL noise and identify product features needed to meet noise requirements.
  • Integrate low-noise solutions into eVTOL aircraft and propeller development, ensuring compliance with regulations and market needs while minimizing cost and weight.
  • Engage with regulatory authorities to define and demonstrate noise certification requirements, and create compliance documentation (reports, test plans, results).
  • Develop processes and tools for noise measurement during certification tests, analyze and interpret test data.
  • Ensure compliance with operational noise requirements, considering local regulations, and support ecosystem development by modeling noise for different flight paths.
  • Act as the subject matter expert on noise, advancing technical knowledge, processes, and tools for designing certifiable, competitive products, and provide guidance to the team.

Requirements and qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering (mechanical, aeronautics, mechatronics, or electric).
  • Knowledge of aeronautics, in areas of interest related to aeroacoustics, such as: Aerodynamics and Fluid Mechanics. Propeller/Rotor Aerodynamics. Propulsion.
  • Knowledge of aircraft external noise, including generation mechanisms and transmission paths, noise and vibration prediction and control methods
  • Experience with programing languages Matlab and Python.

Preferred Skills

  • Knowledge of rotor integrated design and its impact on acoustic performance
  • Experience with aeronautic industry, especially with aircraft noise certification and operational requirements.
  • Experience with multidisciplinary product development and requirement management.
  • Experience with noise analysis and acoustic simulation tools, including computational aeroacoustics.
  • Continuously explore new options, and feel comfortable in changing situations
  • Effective and assertive communication.
  • Critical thinking and problem solving.
