Primary Responsibilities /Accountabilities/ Essential Functions:
- Create and set up FOH to suit your workflow. This includes configuring the front-of-house (FOH) console and surrounding equipment to match your preferred workflow and mixing style. You will have full access to customize input routing, assign channel strips, create custom layers, and apply desired processing to ensure a seamless and efficient workflow during the event. Additionally, this setup time allows you to make all necessary patches within the console, including mic inputs, wireless channels, and playback sources, so that the configuration is ready to carry over into each rehearsal and the live event without interruption.
- Operate FOH for three rehearsals. You will be responsible for running FOH during three scheduled rehearsals, ensuring the audio mix is balanced, clear, and reflective of the needs of both the band and the production team. During these rehearsals, you’ll work closely with the Worship Production team and musicians to refine the mix and troubleshoot any technical issues. These rehearsals are key opportunities to dial in tone, dynamics, and transitions to ensure a smooth live experience.
- Run FOH for the live IGNITE Worship event. You will be the lead FOH engineer during the live event, managing all aspects of the front-of-house mix. This includes executing all transitions, maintaining audio quality, responding to any unforeseen technical issues, and ensuring that the audience receives a professional and engaging sound experience.
