New Life Church's mission is to make disciples in the Pikes Peak region, by calling people to worship, connect and serve.  

            Job Summary:

To serve the New Life East staff and congregation by providing an excellent audio experience for that worship and serving in person and online.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Mixing Audio for New Life East services and nights of Worship.
• Troubleshooting technical issues in the audio system.
• Setting up a tearing down audio system.
• Ensuring audio equipment is used and stored in a safe and effective manner.
• Staying with decibel limits as determined by the Worship Pastor and Operations Director.
• Regularly review services with the Production team for ongoing feedback, improvements, and celebration.
• Collaborate regularly with the Worship Pastor for improving sound quality of live services and online streams.
• Coordinating with the worship team to ensure correct and efficient stage setup.
• Maintaining a clean stage from a visual and safety standard.
• Responding to staff and congregant feedback.
• Growing in technical and creating skills and knowledge.

Education and Experience:

Education:  High School diploma or GED required.

Experience: 1-2 years of related experience, specifically on church tech department.

Working Conditions and Requirements

Physical Demands:

• Regularly required to sit and occasionally required to stand and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. Must be able to frequently lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
• Substantial movements (motions) of the wrists, hands, and/or fingers.
• Close visual acuity to is necessary to perform an activity such as: preparing and analyzing data and figures; transcribing; viewing a computer terminal; extensive reading.
