Summary:
The Audio/Visual Technician combines exceptional craftsmanship and work quality with superb expertise to deliver reliable installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting. Responsible for managing the Audio/Visual technology at the Club and running support services for events, concerts, conferences, and meetings. The position entails the management of professional-grade audio equipment and visual presentation systems such as lighting, video conferencing, PowerPoint projections, etc., and coordination with event managers to ensure that all required systems have been provided, installed, and tested.

Education/Experience:
Bachelor's degree from accredited university, college, technical school; or a minimum of five years of audio, video and lighting experience, or any equivalent combination of related education and experience.
Prior experience working in the audio-visual, sound and/or lighting industry is required.
Language Ability:
Ability to communicate well in English. Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.
Reasoning Ability:
Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.
Computer Skills:
To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite; Inventory software; Internet.
