As an AV Design Engineer, you’ll design and deliver AV systems that exceed customer expectations. From sales support to project closeout, you’ll play a key role in creating seamless solutions.

• Conduct site visits with sales teams to assess customer needs.
• Create detailed scopes of work (SOW) and system flow diagrams.
• Develop comprehensive bills of materials (BOM) and CAD drawings.
• Provide labor estimates and approve construction drawings.
• Collaborate with clients and contractors to ensure successful implementation.
• Manage change orders and document updates throughout projects.

• High school diploma or GED required; Associate or Bachelor's preferred.
• 5+ years in AV design and implementation, with knowledge of AMX, Biamp, Crestron, and Extron systems.
• Cisco/Polycom VC certification or equivalent experience preferred.
• Expertise in AV technology, VOIP/Video over IP, CAD, and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Proactive, team-oriented, and customer-focused with strong communication skills.

The standard work environment for this position is an indoors business office and construction environment. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit, talk or hear, use hands, stoop, kneel, reach with hands and arms, and talk or hear. The employee is frequently required to stand and walk. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds and frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. The employee must regularly carry and climb ladders to 20 feet. Must be able to operate equipment such as scissor lifts, telehandlers, boom lifts, and UTVs (buggies) if required to do so. The employee may also be required to work in tight, confined spaces.
