As an experienced AV Technician, you’ll bring strong knowledge of AV and VC services, including system operation, troubleshooting, installation, and maintenance. You are self-motivated, proactive in your approach, and committed to delivering high-quality service across the site.

What You Will Be Doing

  • Provide onsite audio-visual meeting room support services, including system operation, troubleshooting, and maintenance of video conferencing, meeting room technology, event support, and control systems.
  • Diagnose faults safely and accurately, performing first-line repairs, testing, and operation of AV, VC, display, and presentation technologies.
  • Ensure meeting room AV systems run efficiently, with minimal downtime and maximum performance.
  • Respond promptly, courteously, and professionally to all customer requests, including last-minute needs, in line with service levels and contractual agreements.
  • Maintain high standards of tidiness, cable management, safety, and readiness across service areas and meeting spaces.
  • Troubleshoot AV, VC, AC, and TP systems quickly and effectively, escalating to the appropriate personnel when necessary.
  • Support high-profile meetings and events with reliable technical expertise.
  • Track and update accurate records of client hardware inventory.
  • Share knowledge, guidance, and training with colleagues when required.
  • Keep company and customer documentation accurate and up to date.
  • Deliver all work to company quality standards and best practices.
  • Work in compliance with the Company’s safety manual with safety of self and others in mind at all times.
  • Other duties as required or assigned by company or client management.

About You

  • CTS qualified, or willingness to work towards certification.
  • Solid knowledge of communications, networking, and audio visual systems, including their components.
  • Experience in testing, fault finding, servicing, and maintaining electronic AV systems or related technologies.
  • Familiarity with touchscreen and web-based technologies.
  • Hands-on experience with IP- and telephony-based video conferencing systems.
  • Strong track record of delivering excellent customer service in a fast-paced, front-of-house environment.
  • Highly organised and adaptable, with the ability to manage a variety of tasks throughout the day.
  • Proven ability to prioritise effectively and remain calm under pressure.
  • High level of computer literacy.
  • Lateral problem-solving skills, with the ability to find creative, practical solutions to meet deadlines or specific requirements.
  • Effective team player with strong collaboration skills.
  • Capable of working independently and taking accountability for outcomes.
  • Strong focus on quality and attention to detail.
  • Professional approach when representing the company on client sites.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
