Job Title: Audio Visual (AV) Technician

Job Description:
We are seeking a reliable and technically skilled Audio Visual (AV) Technician to support the setup, operation, and maintenance of audiovisual equipment. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys hands-on technical work, troubleshooting, and providing on-site support in a fast-paced environment. Travel to client sites is required.

Responsibilities

  • Install, set up, operate, and break down AV equipment including sound systems, microphones, projectors, displays, and video conferencing tools
  • Travel to client locations, job sites, or event venues to provide on-site AV support
  • Troubleshoot and resolve audio, video, and connectivity issues
  • Perform routine testing and maintenance of AV equipment
  • Provide technical support during meetings, presentations, and events
  • Ensure equipment is properly configured and functioning prior to use
  • Maintain inventory of AV equipment, cables, and accessories
  • Communicate with team members and clients to ensure technical requirements are met
  • Follow safety guidelines and company procedures during installations and travel

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Previous experience as an AV Technician or in a related technical role preferred
  • Knowledge of audio, video, and basic networking systems
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to lift and transport AV equipment
  • Willingness and ability to travel to multiple locations as needed
  • Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license preferred
  • Strong communication and customer service skills
  • Dependable, detail-oriented, and able to work independently and as part of a team
