Job Title: Audio Visual (AV) Technician
Job Description:
We are seeking a reliable and technically skilled Audio Visual (AV) Technician to support the setup, operation, and maintenance of audiovisual equipment. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys hands-on technical work, troubleshooting, and providing on-site support in a fast-paced environment. Travel to client sites is required.
Responsibilities
- Install, set up, operate, and break down AV equipment including sound systems, microphones, projectors, displays, and video conferencing tools
- Travel to client locations, job sites, or event venues to provide on-site AV support
- Troubleshoot and resolve audio, video, and connectivity issues
- Perform routine testing and maintenance of AV equipment
- Provide technical support during meetings, presentations, and events
- Ensure equipment is properly configured and functioning prior to use
- Maintain inventory of AV equipment, cables, and accessories
- Communicate with team members and clients to ensure technical requirements are met
- Follow safety guidelines and company procedures during installations and travel
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Previous experience as an AV Technician or in a related technical role preferred
- Knowledge of audio, video, and basic networking systems
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Ability to lift and transport AV equipment
- Willingness and ability to travel to multiple locations as needed
- Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license preferred
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Dependable, detail-oriented, and able to work independently and as part of a team
