AV Technician | Manchester Independent School

We are excited to be working with a prestigious Independent school in Manchester to recruit a committed AV Technician. This full-time, permanent position is available for an April start and offers a fantastic opportunity to join a successful administrative and technical faculty. We are seeking an individual who can lead by example, fostering a desire for students to explore the technical side of the arts within a scholarly and well-ordered environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-calibre technical assistance for a wide range of school concerts and productions

• Oversee the maintenance of the school's specialized recording and broadcast equipment

• Ensure all AV procedures adhere to the highest standards of safety and compliance

• Collaborate with the Senior Leadership Team on the strategic upgrade of school AV assets

• Use creative methods to help students achieve excellence in technical theatre roles

Qualifications and Experience

• Experience in live event production or school technical support

• Ability to work with a high degree of accuracy and independently under pressure

• Strong interpersonal skills and a professional manner

• Must have the right to work in the UK

Salary and Benefits

• Competitive Salary: £24,000 - £29,500
