Are you an experienced Acoustic Consultant / Senior Acoustic Consultant with a passion for sound, the environment, and the built environment? A leading international consultancy with a strong UK presence is looking to expand their acoustics team in London with the addition of a Senior Consultant.

Key Responsibilities

As a Senior Acoustic Consultant, you will work alongside experienced professionals to deliver high-quality acoustic assessments and advice. Duties include:

  • Assisting with environmental noise and vibration assessments for planning and compliance
  • Supporting building acoustics and sound insulation analysis
  • Fee proposals
  • Undertaking site visits to complete environmental monitoring, data analysis, and reporting duties
  • Using software (e.g., ODEON, CadnaA) to undertake acoustic modelling

Candidate Requirements

The ideal candidate will be enthusiastic, self-motivated, and ready to begin a career in acoustics within a dynamic consultancy setting. You should have:

  • Previous experience working for a UK consultancy with a background in Building or Environmental Acoustics
  • A degree (or MSc) in Acoustics, Physics, Engineering, Environmental Science, or a related field
  • A genuine interest in acoustics, noise, and vibration
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Good numerical and analytical skills
  • A full UK driving licence
